A Community Icon Reborn

After a devastating fire in 2020 left The Greens at The Entrance in ruins, the beloved Central Coast bowling club began its journey toward recovery.

In March 2025, the newly rebuilt establishment proudly reopened its doors to the community—stronger, safer, and built to last.

Auswide was honoured to be a part of this significant rebuild, delivering brick and block laying services that formed the structural backbone of the revitalised venue.

Duration & Scope

This extensive project spanned 7 months, requiring precision, coordination, and craftsmanship to bring the design vision to life.

Our scope of work included:

• Structural brickwork for key building areas
• Blockwork to support internal and external walls
• Working alongside other trades to meet construction milestones.

Challenges & Achievements

Rebuilding after a fire comes with unique challenges, including

• adhering to modern building codes 
• addressing fire resistance requirements
• and ensuring long-term structural integrity.

The Auswide team approached these demands with experience and attention to detail, ensuring every block was laid with purpose.

Through collaborative planning and hands-on workmanship, we helped shape a venue that not only restores what was lost but adds new life and longevity to the community hub.

Outcomes 

• All work completed on schedule, while building strong relationships with the site supervisors and builder.

The Greens at The Entrance is a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Being involved in its transformation has been a point of pride for our team at Auswide.
